Madame Fancy - Art Print
Signed Giclee fine art print illustrated by Abi Overland.
This art deco era architecturally inspired piece was created from listening to a ridiculous number of whimsical fantasy books and creating a fun little world combining modern and joyful colour schemes with classical architectural styles.
There has also been some suggested lore for this gal as written by Abi Allison - ‘It’s giving me 1930s jazz club baroque era in Cuba I feel like it’s owned by an old woman called Vera whose husband was a gangster’ for the coral scheme and for the lilac - ‘same theme but Vera’s husband wasn’t a gangster he was a swing dancer and he died in a freak private plane crash so she opened the cocktail dance club in his honour and it wasn’t called Vera’s it was called “foxtrot”
