Le Chat Noir was an entertainment establishment, in the bohemian Montmartre district in Paris. It was opened in 1881 by impresario Rodolphe Salis.

It was thought to be the first modern cabaret nightclub - it was also part artist salon and part music hall. It was the subject of the iconic poster by Theophile Steinlen in 1896.

I have re-imagined this poster as a homage to the original, combining both nostalgic and modern elements to fit into your stylish home interior.
